Sean, your spam killer isn’t working
I’ve received more spam since I’ve installed it. Very annoying, though quite commical that they would post what i was complaining about on the spammers post. Yes, I’ve checked to make sure the tags exist on my theme, so it should work… but all that’s really changed is that I have to moderate everyone’s comments instead.
Onto other topics. Customers can be just so… ugh! Most of the time it is because of ignorance, but I’m really not sure I can explain any better.
…why do I hear geese?! what the… oh wait, Kristel, you’re on the top floor, right beneath the roof drain thing. Chances are, they’ve just parked themselves near it. Weird. Hmm, thinking about weird things. Two days ago, woman from below (or at least she said she was, and she smelled like smoke i usually get a wiff of now and then) came to my door, saying that her mum just died (wasn’t the weird part, people die all the time) and that she needed money for a cab. (which is the weird part… I haven’t exactly experienced women of her age group (I’d say ’round 50) asking for money, and I thought about it later, she didn’t seem too distraught. (not to mention I live downtown, and there’s just about every standard bank within two blocks from here… and it’d be on her way to the hospital if she was walking.) Anyways, I gave her $10, figuring that if she was scamming me, then it’s not like I’m going to come up short for rent or anything. She said she’d pay me back yesturday, but didn’t, but thinking about it, if I had a funeral to plan, I might not be worrying about paying my neighbour back $10. Still weird though.
Okay, should probably get back to work now. It’s too early to be slacking off.
Weird, I am not getting spam. You must be more important than me (though I did get 244 views 2 days ago).

The best you can do is say “if there is more than 1 link, go to moderation”, and put on your blacklist anything with “viagra” or “xxx” in it.
unless you already did that. then this comment won’t show up……
are they spam comments, or track backs? when people post you on their blogs (even spam bots that just rip your stuff and link it) it automatically posts on your comments. You can turn off track backs when you make the post, it’s a check box above allow comments.
It’s definately spam. They’re quoting bits of Adam Smith’s Wealth of Nations… but in such a way that I can’t block the same quote every time. And then they go on to writing weird characters at the end (which you’d think a spam killer could get) the emails are all really close to ending in @hotmail or yahoo or gmail, but usually with some random extra vowels in there… if you were tracing back, you wouldn’t be doing the above, would you?
