I went in to get my passport today, everything seemed to be in order, and I’m looking at it arriving in a few weeks! Which is good, because it means I can fly to Chicago for PHP Tek! Sweet. I could also fly to oh, say Germany? Or visit some hobbits in New Zealand…

Anyways, it all went *very* quickly. I spent more time at CAA for the photo than I did at the passport office. Of course, I was in line behind some old woman at CAA, and of course she doesn’t know what she wants, and doesn’t understand that when you book a trip 5 months in advance, they can’t guarantee you that everything will be exactly as it says in your documents (though you do have everything you need, and what you have is right for now) and the ferry wasn’t listed as she was expect (read past the state/province lady!) anyways, everything just went sooo smoothly at the office. they took my documents, they were like okay all is good, i moved on, this guy entered everything in to the computer, everything else was still good, and it’s coming express post. hooray! The online thing helped to. I don’t write neatly, so being able to type things in too gave me some time to think things through, and if you decide to change something, or you missed something, it will let you know, and the passport people don’t have to worry about it.

i don’t have much else to say… this work thing keeps getting in the way, and technically, i got my passport on my lunch hour, so i probably should work now anyways.
