At Mum & Dad’s
It’s hot, and unless you’re infront of the a/c in my apartment, it’s at least 30 degrees. So decided to go to my parents. They have central air, it’s at least decent in here, it’s all good.
To entertain myself while I’m here, I decided the best game would be to blog about nothing.
Jeff’s not home yet. He’s coming home from work… couldn’t believe it when he called to ask what was on the menu for dinner tonight — if he didn’t like it, he would pick up something on the way home! I don’t think I could’ve gotten away with that while I lived here. And after raiding their fridge for things I normally won’t spend money on… well, it’s like they tailor their menu to his! Can’t believe it. He’s 20 y/o, and they still buy cheesewiz to go on the brocolli for him. Jeez.
Watching Rescue Mediums right now. Dad says it’s crap, and all psychics have to be making it up, but I disagree with him, so now he’s pissed, and it’s probably a good thing that they left for a party, eh? I think he’s just in a bad mood. All day at Music Plus, add in the heat, how hungry he was, and the fact that I bugged him about his s…l…o…w… shopping habits. Maybe the party will cheer him up. They brought some wine at least.
The bananagrams has swept through my family like wildfire. I got it back a few months ago, then played with mum, then she was hooked, so i had to find her a copy (’round mother’s day, wasn’t easy) so then she’s taken it on the girls weekend (okay the girls + richard – kristel weekend) up in North Bay (at rich’s) and they played, and so now my Auntie Trev & Grandma are hooked. Then they played with Aunt Marlene (who’s actually my grandma’s first cousin) and she was soo hooked, they had to wifi into someone’s network to order it online, and now my grandma’s disapointed because she doesn’t have a copy and regrets not ordering one at the same time. Was that enough of a run on sentance for you? The point is, don’t buy Bananagrams if you don’t want to risk getting addicted, or you own the similar game of Pick Two.
Oh shit… you know you’re disoriented when… you spill your glass without even aiming anywhere near it and the water goes all over the keyboard. At least it’s still working. (and at least it’s not my computer! ha!)
Been looking at condos/townhouses/small homes/anything in my range that’s not a mobile home… and we found one for $159,000. So pretty good price; it’s a town house, 2.5 floors, garage, central air… makes me wonder what’s wrong with it. I know it’s right near the food bank, and the railway tracks, but it is actually in a good neighbourhood, so we’ll see. We’re doing a drive by tomorrow maybe, and I’m not seriously considering even calling the realator yet, it’s just so I know what I can afford, and just how much I can get for my money, and so on.
… Oh dear, including water clean up time, I’ve only wasted maybe 15 minutes. Great…
Jeff just got home with a random friend… that wasted some more time. Especially since I was the one who somehow got roped into putting his dinner away! Jeez. Is everyone’s younger brother’s like this?!
Still can’t find my iPod warantee. At least it doesn’t appear to be here, meaning it’s probably in one of the three unpacked big tub thingys at my house. Great.
wtf are they doing in the hot tub next door?! It’s 26 out, humidex of 34… good god.
…don’t have anything else to say. And I’m not feeling too well anyways (Headache + upset stomach speaks dehydration to me, so drinking water and watching the scary movie up next seems the best solution to me!)
