Did I say roughly 5 flies in the kitchen?! My sensed lied! I decided to move the traps on top of the fridge to make lunch & clean the counters, and holy god… I found the source though! — When I was cleaning out the fridge, I remember being distracted by the phone, and puting half a red onion on top of the fridge. Well, aparently they like red onions. Especially starting to ferment red onions. Great. So I pick up my courage and swiftly shove the whole bag, flies, red onion and all, into another bag, wrap it up, and shoved it down the shute. I’m thinking I caught oh, at least 20 or so and the major nests. Now all that’s left is the 20 or so that made it out of the bag. In the process as well, the cone trap with the pineapple in, also had some juice in as well (intarweb told me they like that) well, it was in the bag I shoved the other in, and then I found out my garbage bag leaks. SO had to clean the floor, and now I *have* to do laundry today because my purse got a whole load of juice in it as well. This is way more excitement than I wanted today! I just wanted to put fresh sheets on the beds, vaccuum, and sometime tonight say hello to Marisa & Michelle. Now fly killing, laundry, washing the kitchen floor, and having a second shower to wash any potential bugs out are all on the list. Can you tell I’m annoyed. What makes it worse is it’s all my fault! Maybe I should put myself in timeout. (I’d take away privilages, but it’s not worth it.)
