Tick Tock
Tick Tock
I fixed my clock.
It wasn’t working,
And I was sad,
But now its ticking; isn’t that rad?
….
I should really not write poetry. Anyways, you got the point, right? I fixed my clock. old photo below, but it’s working like it was then!
I’m also on a deadline for work. But for some unknown reason, my php run search isn’t working. In fact, you do a search and it’ll return everything in the database, regardless of whether it matches the string. I don’t get it, because I’ve done this a dozen times before and they all work. So clearly I did something stupid. What? Well, I don’t know. Oh well, the customer hasn’t noticed anything else I’ve done, why should they notice this? I mean, techincally you do get the product you’re looking for… you just the other 3000 some as well.

What does your MySQL query look like? Are you using ‘LIKE’?
query looks like this:
SELECT DISTINCT SpecCom, Plant, LDesc, Zone, FHeight, FTime, Shade, PicFN FROM prodDB WHERE ‘$searchType’ LIKE ‘%$searchString%’
everything’s spelt right, $searchType & $searchString come from the form leading to this page… i don’t see what’s wrong!
…oh duh! found the problem! thanx gavin!
yay! you found the problem….
i wanted to help, but you and gavin beat me to it.
Lol I think I beat gavin… just needed to see it again I think.
