Easter, Mariokart, & Poll
Okay, two of the three were covered in yesturday’s post, mostly because I didn’t intend on writing one today, but…
It was totally awesome to see my Grandma play Mariokart. Seriously, if you have Mariokart, go out, find yourself an old person (even 40+ will work… hilariously) and make them play. It was sweet. We had Grandma & Nana have a go, and Mum & Auntie Trev, & Aunt Renee & Uncle Harold, and even Dad. It was so great, Jeff & I are considering getting Mum & Dad a wii & mariokart for Mother’s & Father’s day. I’m not sure though if we should, since we bought Dad a bunch of movies for his birthday, last October, and most are still in their original packaging.
Easter otherwise was good. No Dick (hooray!), Mom totally changed the potatoes on us (so not cool), Ham was good, etc.
I found out which weekend Joanna wanted me to babysit; it’s this coming weekend. So I’ve removed this weekend from the poll, and unless someone’s voted since this morning, I don’t think it affected anyone.
Sean, I think I’m going to hold onto your prize until you come… I can’t find my stamps. Vicky, I’m soooo sorry I’m so behind! I really will try to get your package out this week.
For when you guys do come, are you up for a hike in the arboretum? Last time I checked, it was free, and it’s technically still in Guelph, so it’s not like it’s far. I was also wondering if they do tours, will look into it, of the wellington brewery… it’d be fun for three of us anyways. (I’ve been doing research so we don’t have to resort to shopping at the mall! The trouble is finding things that won’t hurt our budget’s so much… or at least not mine.) Any other suggestions, let me know!
Happy Easter!
Sounds fine to me (I am moving soon anyway… wouldn’t want to miss the package)
