Gavin and I are writing a budget software...

And I will be porting it to ShoestringPHP since they seem to be too lazy to do it :P

The parents I know work too much, I think that's what the problem is. When aren't working maybe they'll ram down some food and go to sleep.

Yes, you can try the software for free! We are planning on a focus-group, to give us feedback. So you would be focus-group member Kristel.

I'll give you more info closer to the beta release :)

And Baptist boys are just like any other boys, some of them have one track minds (hockey/God/sex) and some a very well rounded. Church is just another place to meet people, to improve the odds of finding them/him. And some of the assumptions in the relationship might be different. I always thought that it was a bit unrealistic on TV where they meet, like each other and have sex right away -- do real people actually have that expectation? Because that raises a LOT of issues -- STD's, unknown spouses, crazy ex's, he turns out to be a total creeper, etc.

... I think I've crossed into rambling at this point...

... how would a baptist boy deal with my united version of things? i'm not sure it would go well. and quite frankly, my experience with churchy boys is that they like to talk about god. a lot. and it's not that he's not great, it's that talking about other things, like curling, can be fun too.

they really only had one couple they hung out with every week before we moved out. Now they hardly see them any more (because Dad was tired of always being the one to call, and I think he got annoyed when they took another couple out for dinner, but have never invited my parents out in the 10+ years we've known them.)

I'm not sure I want a baptist boy... at least not the 'cliquey' as you put it

BJ tips?! You mean she's going to give me tips?! Or at least one more? Oh man. Note to self, avoid her at all costs. *shudders* Her husband wasn't there, it was just a girls thing. I'm kinda glad I don't know her husband though.

Can I try it out free? My budget for "miscelaneous" has been spent for this month! If so, then I'd be happy to try it for you!

Do the parents you know all have at least one kid who lives at home? Then again, my aunt and uncle have always been very sociable, so I dunno.

you're parents have friends? is that common?

...also, hilarious!!! not all baptist churches are the same though, you have to look around for the one where lots of 20-somethings go. if she suggested it, then her's probably has a good 20-something population.

i find some church groups to be really 'cliquey' though, so if you're man-hunting, you'll have to shop around for your best 'hunting-ground' LOL!!

it's so funny when older people talk about relationships - wait until you're dating and then they'll ask you about marriage and babies -- just a personal as BJ tips!!

I'm sure her BJ comment was based on a personal issue. I hope she glared at her husband when she said it.

Oh, Gavin and I are writing a budget software-- would you be interesting on trying it out for us and telling us what you think when it's closer to finished?
