I was cleaning out my old nighstand and found a postcard at the very back addressed to my old physics teacher in highschool. I thought to myself, “I should mail this to him, he might laugh.” I tell Mom of my great plan, and she tells me he’s dead. What?! Aparently he died when I was knee deep in exams one year and she didn’t want me to get upset that my favourite teacher died, when I’m already so stressed, so didn’t tell me, and forgot about it when exams were over. Gee thanks Mom. At least I didn’t mail the postcard.

Anyways, I think I’m going to go clear off my bookshelf so when Dad comes it’s all ready for him to screw the new one to the wall, and take the old one away.
