Was in the toy store today, and they had the expansions on sale… so I bought one of each of the four they had! (killer deal btw, I would’ve bought maybe 2 if they weren’t.) So now we get to play with the blue deck, the yellow, and now the new ones: red, green, pink, & violet! I don’t have the orange, twilight white & stainless steel, and I’m hoping we don’t actually need those to play with the pink deck, or just the orange to play with the green. Now we get more bunnies, carrots, and of course weapons & dice, so more super fun! I’m excited. hopefully you come down soon, because I can’t convince anyone else to play with me.

Got another new game this past weekend too. (different toystore, better sale) it’s called Aquire. It looks fun, and up our alley, but we’ll see. Dad said it was too much strategy for him. (I’d like to point out that Bananagrams [or its not-actual-but-close-enough relative, Pick 2] is also too much strategy for him.)

Outside of that, not much has gone on. Family renuion was this past weekend, most of us seemed to have fun. Dad wouldn’t try my bread, but my Aunt Renee & Mike loved it! We played Boche ball, including a few rounds with Grandpa; sat out in the sun, had way too many pork chops, and I had to run back to my apartment to get something out of Dad’s inventory that’s stored here.

Been trying not to bite my fingernails… and now I keep hitting the wrong keys because they’re a little too long, and I don’t have the type-with-the-nails game down. No wonder I bite my fingernails, but I suppose there could be worse habbits… like biting my toenails. Or picking my nose. Or pronouncing “Milk” as “Malk.” (god that drives me nuts)

I’m really not good about the staying on topic game; oh well. At least we’ll have fun! The red expansion bunnies have special powers, and the pink has some bingo flamingo thing, and these green have new half-colour bunnies, which sounds like it could be a whole new world of fun…… but I’m rambling. It just sounds so fun, and I can’t play alone. If I’m lucky, you’ll still want to play when you get here… I’m even willing to not learn how to play munchkin if you guys’ll play!

On a side note, found out that if I show my CAA card at the gate at the African Lion Safari, we get 10% off (up to 6 people) which I thought was pretty cool. Michelle likes to go, but I wouldn’t mind going twice if you guys want to. (so not allowed to bring my car through [the safari part] though… we’d have to take either one of your cars, or the bus).. we’d also get a discount at the civic museum here… but let’s face it, it really isn’t all that fun, and even less fun now if you’re not a kid.

Anyways, that’s the news for today… I mostly stayed on topic… or came back to it. Thinking I’m going to go relax and maybe read or something… all this gaming excitement is just too much

oh, almost forgot. Still haven’t found that bug. I’m thinking he came up through our hot water baseboard heaters, and since that was real close to where the curtains were, there’s a good chance he at least left that way.
