And today is…. Wednesday? no wait, Thursday.

Been on a killer deadline this past week. I made it, but barely. Barely. I wouldn’t have if I had to fool with graphics. If I’m lucky I still won’t have to. Maybe I’ll get lucky and I’ll get away with laundry & and cleaning house tomorrow morning. (God knows it needs it. It’s amazing how dirty it can get in just a few short days… especially when said days are filled with a deadline. It’s not as bad as it’s normal status in Ptbo, it might even be better than Ptbo’s clean state, but still… it is affecting my general mood.)

H&TPS came today. I’m psyched. If you don’t know what I mean by H&TPS are, unfortunately, you’re out of the H&TP loop, and I can’t fill you in. (to state the obvious, it’s a secret. One I will glady fill you in on… in person.) Can’t wait until tomorrow though. Yes.

I wonder how my scouting group will feel about HP? I’m a little worried because some religious groups aren’t so cool with HP, and Scouts Canada is cool with all religious groups as long as they believe in some sort of god, which could involve the book burning idiots… but I’m not sure those idoits would want their kids mixing with other kids of non-idiot status, and therefore I might not have a problem… maybe. Maybe I’ll start subtle… just an hp bookmark… and then we’ll move to the tshirt, sweater, the books of course, then the german books to throw them off, robes… okay, I don’t have any robes, but it’s only because I really don’t have the patience for knitting that much, and if you’ve seen my curtains up close, obviously my sewing skills aren’t there either.

Been working on my scarf for michelle. It was going well until I went over to my Mom’s… then there was a little havoc, but I just forged ahead, and with a few changes to the pattern, I’m back on the right pattern again… And Mom couldn’t tell, so I doubt Michelle will. It’s seeming to annoy me the more I work with it. I enjoyed it the first little while, now I’m mostly bored with it. You’d think with automatic colour changes I’d be okay with it, but aparently not. The current colour I’m on is taking forever to move on. So maybe I’m just impatient to see the next colour.

Was at Mom’s for dinner. I wanted the car, and she was willing to feed me, so it’s all good. We started to watch Beverly Hills Chihuahua… it would be alright if I was 8 years old, but now,… not so much. Not even enough grown-up humour that the kids wouldn’t pick up on to make it worth while. So I went home. Found one of my circuits had been blown again. (That would be the circuit that covers my solarium, the outside wall of my bedroom and living room, and for reasons unknown, my fire alarm.) I don’t know why, but it happens. a lot. So it was stifling in here because that’s the circuit my a/c was on and all the windows were closed. It’s getting cooler in here, but not fast enough.

Joanna and I are planning on doing an organ/piano duet for one of the first couple weeks back to church. We haven’t really picked anything, but I have music for Awesome God that I think I can add an organ part. At least it’ll keep me busy this weekend.

Went to the movies with Joanna & kids & kids’ friends yesturday. I was lucky and got to go with the girls, obviously the more well behaved bunch, to see Bandslam. It was actually pretty good. The other crew went to see G-Force. I’m glad I didn’t… gerbils freak me out all on their own without having super powers. Anyways, back to Bandslam… there was a preview for New Moon. I’m excited. Annika didn’t believe me that Edward doesn’t come back to save Bella from Jacob, and that Jacob’s really a good guy. But that’s okay, she’ll see it eventually. Read the books? Um, probably never. Joanna’s kids are firmly of the opinion that I read too much, it’s unnatural, and all movies are better. Oh how wrong they are.

Don’t have much else to say… So maybe I’ll go play Fable and then head to bed.
