I have a new puppy!!!

Her name is Pepper, she’s a scottie/cairn cross, and is possibly the cutest dog in the world. She slept the entire way home (we know we won’t have a problem driving with her!) and she’s sleeping on my lap now. She doesn’t quite like her bed yet, and she whines when I leave her in her pen and leave the room. No, she won’t be in the pen 24/7 minus walks. The pen is for overnight so she isn’t roaming and getting into everything. She’s been in the pen now because I wasn’t exactly planning on getting a puppy today, and puppy proofing the house before giving her free reign is probably a good idea. She’s curious about everything. She liked my vaccuum… until she got about a foot away, then she hid. Oh man she’s sweet. Did I mention I was happy. Definately a lap dog though. If she didn’t have to pee, I think she’d stay on my lap all day. I’ve sent out a few emails, and now I’ve been blogging, and she hasn’t moved off my lap yet.
