I don’t know what’s more annoying:

The spam that’s just a jumble of links, the spam that pretends it’s a real person, or the spam that’s Sean pushing Linux/Kodoo.  Haha, just kidding.  It’s most definately one of the first two…  The first one I get more often, but it almost always gets marked as spam without coming to me, and all is fine, but it’s the amount that makes it annoying.  The spam that’s pretending to be a real person who thinks your blog is interesting is annoying because they just want a cheap plug for their site to get more people to buy their knock off cell phones, spend money from them on ebay, or use their client for transferring money on ebay, etc.  Hm, so I guess it’s the combination of both.  Seriously, if you were interested in my site, you could come up with a little more than “I googled ’such and such’ and your site showed up for ’such and such’ post.  Not very relevant, but I find you interesting anyways.  I have you bookmarked now.”  At the very least you could come up with “You are totally insane, way too competitve, your obsession with curling is very unhealthy, you can’t make ice cream, oh, and did I mention the talk radio?”

First spammer to come up with the above quote as the entirety of their post can have their damn free plug.  (for a day at least)

Can you tell I’m just in a bad mood tonight?  My apartment has finally cooled down though.  At least it’s down to 25.  But I’m thinking that’s because it’s down to 15 outside, eh?

My elliptical comes tomorrow!  Sooo excited.  :)   Then I can win.. I mean, support Michelle’s goal by doing so myself (who knew I just needed someone to compete with to get off the couch.  Maybe I should take up a sport.  What sport doesn’t involve any sort of coordination, girly weakness, or a high dosage of antihistamines, but still involves that competitive drive.  I know!  Curling.  :D )  Anyways, so the elliptical comes tomorrow, meaning I had to clean my closet, so I could put the black table in there (which barely fits) so I can put the elliptical where the table was in my room… So now the table’s in, but I also decided to be ambitious and go through my clothes and throw out/give away the clothes I don’t want/wear/like/etc.  Also, since I spent a few days at my parents, and missed laundry day, and I left such last minute that I didn’t bring any with me to my parents, and there was the trip to Buffalo, and then Michelle & Marisa’s visit……… the point is, there’s a lot of laundry.  And it’s on the floor in piles, along with the you’re-leaving-my-apartment clothes, so now it’s like I have twice the work and I don’t know where it all came from.

Still haven’t found any takers for Great Big Sea.  I’m not going to kingston… then I’ll miss two days of work for sure, compared with the one if people stay over and don’t leave Thursday night through Sunday.  Tickets are $53.25 for the bowl, and $61.25 for the floor/gold seating.  (that is assuming they have tickets left.)  So if you want to come to Guelph so that we can head to Kitchener, let me know!

Vista doesn’t like my printer.  Granted, I don’t like my printer, so it’s not like I can blame it, but it’s still a pain the ass.  It won’t run the printer without my installing the drivers on here first, which is fine, whatever, but the vista drivers for this printer have some serious issues.  To bring up just the printer properties takes a minimum of two minutes, to adjust the page settings takes the same amount, and even worse is to try and get it to use a custom paper size (which hasn’t worked yet.)  Add to that the unreliability of my printer, and it’s bizarre errors (including it telling me it has a paper jam, when there’s no paper anywhere in the printer, yes I checked for small peices; then there’s the generic “check colour cartridge” error… which may not even apply to the colour cartridge at all, but possibly the black one; oh, and my personal favourite !!!####????  Now really, wtf does !!!#####???? mean?!)… and it takes upwards of an hour just to print something.  Serious piss off.  Finally decided to dig out the usb key, truck it over the computer the printer’s attached to, and running xp, and including the 15 minutes getting the damn thing to print, it actually worked the first time I sent the print job.  So what does the support people tell me?  Hook the printer directly to my notebook… and bring it with me at all times because according to them, it’ll keep looking for the printer if it’s not attached.  Yeah, so I’m going to take my notebook to the customer site, hook both it and my printer up, and all will be happy.  Okay then nutjob.  You can take my vista printer problems and shove… ahem.

…probably should get back to cleaning my bedroom floor/closet before it gets too late and the lady from downstairs who gives me chills everytime i see her gets mad and comes up to tell me to be quiet.

Oh, and before I forget.  I made an awesome float tonight (of which it was gone before I even thought of taking a photo)  Just get a big glass, put a few scoops of lemon sorbet (or is it gelato… too lazy to check) then fill the glass with the random blue pop you have in the fridge that you bought for an old roommate incase she decided she didn’t like coke or sprite that weekend.  Probably very unhealthy, but it was tasty.  :)   (I’m thinking it would’ve been good with the coke or sprite too)
