my patience, that blue ornament, oh, and my sanity? well, after spending two (2!) hours trying to untangle the new garland i bought tonight, i decided it just wasn’t worth it. it was only 4 cents short of $6 so if i use it for christmas cards, wrapping, decorating ornaments, maybe even to make napkin holders, i’ll get my money out of it, and it’ll justify my cutting it to unravel it. so i guess that it explains where my patience went… so when i somehow lost an ornament i had in my hands 3 seconds earlier, my sanity went as well.
but seriously now…
where the heck is that blue ornament?!?!!!
okay, was hoping that would make me feel better. if you see it, let me know. i’m off to check the couch coushins… doesn’t look right coushens… no, wait, no o… cushions! ha! i am the win.
…as a sidenote to my downstairs neighbour: if you have a problem with the sounds of my garland against the wall when i’m putting it up, call the f-ing superintendant!!!
…maybe i should add niceness, and my not using the f word to the list.
Update: she did call the super! who apparently told her to piss off. i love justice.
ha! found it! happiness coming back… sanity staying back.

also, i gotta tell ya it’s so nice not hearing complaints from neighbours! i am not jealous of you!

she doesn’t normally complain. i don’t know what her problem was last night. maybe she was untangling garland as well. she just comes across as completely psychotic all the time though. it’s like someone’s run a cold finger down the back of my neck, and then spoken a bunch of nonsense, some of which could possibly be lies. i would be nicer though if she actually gave me my $10 back (which i loaned before i knew she was insane) i just make sure i do loud things at decent hours, all of which can be justified, so that if she doesn’t have a problem, it’s not like i’m doing anything wrong.
