About Me

Well, if you didn’t figure it out already, my name is Kristel.  This is me:

I have little 15 lb scottish terrier x cairn terrier cross named Pepper.  My life tends to revolve around her, knitting for her, or just knitting in general.  This is Pepper:

And this is some knitting:

And here’s some knitting and Pepper:

Yes, I do work in there.  I work for my dad, Conrad, at Quality Computing Works.  This is my dad:

My title is programmer/analyst, and this is what I do most of the time, from the office.  At a customer site though, I’m generally found debugging computers, swaping them out, in the ceiling & under desks threading cables for said computers, and just in general in the way of their employees and slowing down their business for the day since they can’t use the computer in question while I’m on it, but it’s a good payoff since they get to work faster after we leave than before we got there.  ;)   Here’s a computer at a site:

In Mid-March 2010, I bought my own house.  It’s nice finally paying for something that is mine, instead of $900/mo going to some apartment company.  I still pay out condo fees (it is a townhouse) but it’s not in my price range to buy a fully detached home, with a niced, fully-fenced backyard, eat-in kitchen, finished basement, jacuzzi, maybe another bedroom…

Here’s another photo of Pepper since I’m not sure I want to put a photo of my house online:
